Willkommen auf Schloss Kapfenstein
Wir freuen uns, Sie bei uns auf Schloss Kapfenstein begrüßen zu dürfen. In unserer Familie wird Gastfreundschaft groß geschrieben. Das Schloss liegt inmitten des steirischen Vulkanlandes, weit im Südosten der Steiermark. Auf einem erloschenen Vulkankegel erbaut, trotzte die Wehrburg aus dem 11. Jahrhundert unzähligen Angriffen der Hunnen, Türken und Kuruzzen und bietet Ihnen heute einen unglaublichen Ausblick über das Vulkanland bis weit in den Süden nach Slowenien.
Das Hotel im Schloss bietet 17 einzigartige, historisch gewachsene Zimmer und die Küche im Schlossbistro wartet Ihnen kreativ-steirische Spezialitäten auf. Das Schlossteam freut sich darauf Sie hier begrüßen und verwöhnen zu dürfen. Kommen Sie zu Besuch und erleben Sie Gastfreundschaft!

Unser Hotel ist vom 06. März bis Anfang Dezember 2026 geöffnet. Für Hotelgäste gibt es von Mittwoch bis Sonntag täglich ein mehrgängiges Abendmenü mit Wahlmöglichkeit.

Küchenzeiten Schlossbistro: Donnerstag bis Sonntag und Feiertag von 12-15 Uhr Abendmenü für Hotelgäste im Restaurant von Mittwoch bis Sonntag Getränke, Kaffee, Kuchen und Eis gibt es Donnerstag bis Sonntag bis 17.00 Uhr
Picknick: Ab Mitte April bis 26. Oktober von Mittwoch bis Sonntag von 11.30-17.00 Uhr. Frühstück: April bis Oktober täglich von 8.00-11.00 Uhr, März, Nov., Dez. von Freitag bis Sonntag Wir bitten um Reservierung

An den Ruhetagen können Sie gerne bei unseren Aussichtsplätzen direkt vor dem Schloss und auf dem Schlosskogel ein Gläschen Wein, einen frischen Kaffee oder eine kühle Erfrischung aus unserem Automaten genießen.

Am Parkplatz stehen unseren Gästen gegen Gebühr zwei E-Ladestationen zur Verfügung.
